Project Manager, Australian Cancer Survivorship Centre – A Richard Pratt legacy, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre Bachelor of Nursing (Hons), Post Graduate Certificate in Cancer Nursing Georgina commenced in the role of Project Manager with the ACSC in October 2014. This role is responsible for managing and evaluating a range of cancer survivorship initiatives. In 2015 Georgina initiated the Culturally Diverse Cancer Network; the bringing together of a number of professionals and organisations throughout Melbourne who are undertaking work with CALD populations across cancer control. Georgina has a background in cancer nursing and has previously undertaken a number of research projects focusing on the patient experience of cancer. Georgina’s background also includes quality improvement and project work including a range of projects focusing on culturally diverse populations. Georgina is passionate about ensuring equal, quality information and service access and provision for everyone affected by cancer.
