Professor David Roder is currently employed by the University of South Australia as Chair in Cancer Epidemiology and Population Health (in collaboration with SAHMRI) and under contract with Cancer Australia, NSW Cancer Institute and Cancer Council SA. He presently Chairs’ the National Cervical Cancer Safety Monitoring Committee, the Clinical Quality Registry Advisory Committee, and the Prevention and Community Health Committee of the NHMRC. With over 200 peer-reviewed research publications, maintaining around 10 publications per annum, he remains active in research both as a researcher and research reviewer for numerous international journals and research funding bodies. David’s main focus is now on research translation, including literature distillations, development of scientific position statements, and negotiations with policy makers at national and jurisdictional level, and less so, at an international level.
