Dr Carmel Pezaro is a clinician researcher with a particular interest in genitourinary cancers. Following medical oncology and research training in New Zealand and Melbourne, Carmel spent two years working in London with Prof Johann de Bono in the Prostate Cancer Targeted Therapy Group at The Institute of Cancer Research / Royal Marsden. Carmel returned to Melbourne in August 2013 to take up a position at the Monash University Eastern Health Clinical School, where she participates actively in laboratory and clinical research programs.
